Why Reiki Energy Healing?
Reiki balances your energy and triggers your body to heal itself Physically, Emotionally, Mentally and Spiritually. Many find Reiki Treatments to be an excellent place to relieve stress and tension, emotional release, to grow spiritually, improve physical health or manage pain, and improve mental clarity to simply to feel more balanced. My clients tell me they prefer Reiki to massage, because the healing continues after they leave my office, as well as healing on more than just a physical level.
Reiki Healing - What is it?
"Reiki" means Spiritually Guided Life Force Healing, an ancient Japanese form of energy healing that is channeled through the healer from Source energy.

This ability is passed on during an "attunement" "Ignition" or "Placement" given by the Reiki master allowing the student to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve one's health and enhance their quality of life.

Reiki Can be Sent Anywhere in the World
Distant Reiki Distant Reiki works exactly the same as in-person, and can be sent to anyone anywhere as well as into your past or future. Distant Reiki is not more or less powerful, though many feel distant Reiki is more effective than in person!
Distant Reiki is performed using an object called a 'proxy' as a substitute for the person being healed. I happen to use a Teddy Bear named Crystal.

Reiki Infused CrystalReiki Practitioner infuses a large crystal with Reiki energy. Since crystals hold energy, they hold Reiki very well, and amplify it. The crystal is then placed on a piece paper with a person's name or picture on it on it so Reiki healing energy can be funneled to this person for the length of time the crystal is on the paper or until the Reiki runs out. The crystal can be "refilled" with Reiki as often as needed.

There are 3 levels to Reiki: Reiki 1, Reiki II, Reiki Master Teacher (the student is attuned or given Ignitions and Placements to be able to pass the Reiki onto others.)
All classes are a combination of lecture, discussion and experience.
Registration is required and space is limited. Deposit is non-refundable but may be applied to a future class within 12 months.

What is Holy Fire Reiki?
"Holy Fire Reiki is a new form of Reiki being introduced by the ICRT. It is both powerful and gentle and provides purification, healing empowerment, and guidance. It is included as part of our Usui Reiki Classes and has also been added to Karuna Reiki Training. The Holy Fire energy is noticeably more refined and comes from a higher level of consciousness. Some of the qualities students have experienced include:
- Works continuously even when not thinking about it and spontaneously heals issues as they come up.
- Always respects free will
- Heals deeply and quickly without distress
- Heals relationships and interactions with others.
- Releases worry and replaces it with a sense of safely in a most pronounced way
- Spontaneously provides guidance that is palatable for ever level of life experience.
- Tends to develop all the personality traits that are healthy for person to have such as love of self and others, kindness, patience, confidence, vitality, enthusiasm, optimism, trust, joy, peace and so forth.
- One of the more wonderful effects is a feeling of being loved. This is a deep and refining nurturing.
- Once received, it continues to develop itself to be more evolved and effective.These qualities are present in I & II and become more pronounced in the ART/Master and Karuna classes."
The Meaning of Karuna
Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is also used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translated to mean any action
that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action."
When individuals experience enlightenment, they report that all beings are known as one.
Therefore, it is natural to extend compassionate action or Karuna to everyone without distinction
because we are all one.
As we help others and aid them in their healing process, all beings benefit. Because of the oneness of all beings,
it is understood that Karuna is not only extended to others out of love, but also because it is an entirely
logical thing to do. In the same way that you would want to heal your own wounds,
you would also want the wounds of others to heal.
It is also stated in the Buddhist literature that Karuna must be accompanied by prajna or wisdom
in order to have the right effect.
Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings (also called the Brothers and Sisters of the Light)
who are working to end suffering on Earth.
They continually send an unlimited amount of healing energy and guidance to us, but not all are receptive to it.
As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others, but you also become more receptive to the
Karuna that is being sent by the supreme being. Thus, your healing is quickened as well.

For some individuals, practicing Reiki draws them closer to experiencing their religion rather than pondering its intellectual beliefs does. Reiki helps people connect with spiritual and physical healing much like symbols of Christian belief – candles, bells, incense, music – are able to do. Its practitioners teach other people to heal, just as Jesus taught others.
