Ka Ta See: Learning the Ways of Balance
The Ways of the Eastern Andes as Taught by the Hetakas and Kay Cordell Whitaker

A Special Kind of Tutoring:

Following a path to Magic –  for children and adults

People seem to have a natural curiosity about magic and long to be connected to some source of magic.  The success of movies like the Harry Potter series,

Australia, Lord of the Rings, to name a few, are reflections of our longing and curiosity.   There is a sense that we earth humans may be capable of much more than we experience.

For 17 years I have studied an ancient tradition that embraces magic.  The Ka Ta See people from Peru know themselves to be at least 30,000 years old.  And their point of view and understanding of what’s real includes what to us seems magical:

  • The magic of increasing the amount of time and vitality we have for feeling happy, joyful, exuberant and delighted – for feeling our Song as the Ka Ta See people call it.

  • The magic of learning to communicating with nature beings.

  • The magic of deepening your senses so that you perceive more fully, pleasurably and accurately what is happening and when change is coming.

  • The magic of the ease of closeness with friends and family that being in your Song brings.

  • The magic of learning to sense the boundless unconditional love in and around us.

  • The magic of reclaiming lost pieces of ourselves.

  • The magic of becoming friends with beings who are far greater and wiser than we are.

Although the magic I refer to doesn’t require expensive special effects, Harry Potter films are correct  in implying that learning the skills of magic requires training and dedication.  You may need to consider a willingness to see and step out of repetitive patterns – they’ve been such close friends for such a long time.  Yet, they kill the magic.

Learn to focus your attention on pleasure, joy, exuberance, delight, curiosity – your passion for being alive -- your Song.

There are amazing possibilities here for you and your family.

And the Quidditch match in these trainings is all about reaching for freedom and adventure.
