Taoist meditation is a
simple and fluid meditation practice that strengthens the mind, body and spirit.
The ancient Taoist tradition teaches that the goal of spiritual practice is to
unlearn the limitations placed on us by the world so that the true self can be
revealed. Taoist meditation is a meditation of the heart. The Taoist tradition
has a deep reverence and respect for Earth and all creation. Taoist practices
also teach us to focus and send our sense of passionate aliveness from our
hearts to different parts of our body, to other people and to the world around
us. These practices deepen our personal healing, our intuitive senses and our
healing powers for others and the larger society. The sacred text for Taoism is
the Tao Te Ching.
